Buying Cheap used cars can be a difficult task, especially when you don't know what to look for.  Here are 3 tips you can use to find as cheap and decent car:

1 View the car when it's bright outside
 
Every ding and fault on the car you consider to buy you should be aware of; it shouldn't be hidden. A smart thing to do is to take your friend (especially if he or she has automotive knowledge) so that you can have another persons opptinon. You need to have time to do a thorough and careful inspection Do not arrange a seller at a service station or lay-by – you need a place where you can safely make a thorough inspection.  Do you find the seller's name in the phone book?  What impression does the seller leave? You want to match the seller's address with the address recorded in the logbook. 

2 A Technical Check of The Vehicle From an independent Source

Buying cheap used cars successfully requires a little work upfront. Don't even think about paying for a car before you have it checked by an independent instance.  For doing this check you need to have

- the vehicle's mileage
- it's MOT certificate
- the vehicle identification number  (VIN) - you know the number you normally find on a plate inside a door opening
- the vehicles registration mark.

Compare the information you get back from the independent check matches the vehicle and the documentation.  If it tdoesn't, something is obviously wrong with the car and you may look or another.

3 Check all kinds of documentation carefully

It goes without saying that the seller should be able to provide you all the documents attached to the vehicle.   So, what kind of documentation should you expect from the seller?

- a written document that shows that the seller actually is the car's owner
- the Registration Document or log book (V5)
- insurance records
- service records
- a MoT certificate if the car is more than 3 years
- receipts for maintenance and repairs.  to

Here is an additional checklist;

- check VIN numbers
- check the registrations
- check all dates
- check names and addresses
- check if all the car keys are there
- other checkable information
